President

Although not a part of the formal Company Structure, the Chamber has a President.

The role of President is largely ambassadorial and it is important therefore that the President is a person who is both well known in the Borough and highly respected within the business community.

For these reasons, John Bowler former Managing Director of The Wellcome Foundation and currently Chairman of Crewe Alexandra Football Club has proved to be an excellent choice.

On formal occasions, the President wears the Presidents Jewel, which was presented to the Chamber of Commerce by the former Crewe Chamber of Trade.
